Saša Milivojev - THE LADDERS

Image
Saša Milivojev - Sasha Milivoyev Saša Milivojev THE LADDERS Never a one stood in my way When I set my sails away Wavy was the sea And no one was in the least surprised To see me barefoot with their eyes Walking on water And to infinity forever saying my goodbyes I remember the light that was ablaze Beaming I was illuminated by the Sun That was blinding Blinding As I was ascending The ladders to the Welkin Striving to perceive Amid the strangers A face that I hold dear.   Saša Milivojev   Translated by Ljubica Yentl Tinska SAŠA MILIVOJEV

Saša Milivojev - SEVERANCE

Image
Sasha Milivoyev - Saša Milivojev Saša Milivojev SEVERANCE To overcome, relinquish and forget, black – hearted eyes, as well as innocent, feigned words of solace and bitter embrace. To forget the joys, affections and desires, hardship and bliss, friends and enemies, smiles and tears and prayers. To be insincere. To write no more verses. To trust not a soul. To understand no one and naught. To forgive not. To pass a verdict ‘pon oneself of remoteness and taciturnity. And soar towards the glistening of Cosmic dark infinity.       Saša Milivojev     Translated by Ljubica Yentl Tinska SAŠA MILIVOJEV

Saša Milivojev, interview, Pravda Newspapers SAŠA MILIVOJEV HORRIFIC ORGAN HARVESTING LAIR DESCRIBED BY AN EYEWITNESS THE VOICE OF RUSSIA 2 9. October 2012.  15:24 Moscow time INTERVIEW “Live people were wrapped in barbed wire and thrown downhill”, – this is perhaps one of the “nicest” memories of the main character of The Boy from the Yellow House , a journalistic novel written by the Serbian writer Saša Milivojev. The author collected in one work just a tiny fragment of the atrocious crimes carried out by the Albanian terrorists in Kosovo before and after the NATO’s aggression against Yugoslavia. The main character, a 12-year-old Serbian boy who was kidnapped in broad daylight and who almost fell victim to an illegal organ transplant in the notorious “Yellow House” in Northern Albania, where no less than 300 people, primarily Serbs, were killed. Many reputable sources claim that the victim’s organs were sold abroad, from which profited the leaders of the terrorist Kosovo Liberation A

Sasha Milivoyev - Saša Milivojev Saša Milivojev   GOLDEN TWINE     A Spirit A wandering soul A wrathful squall In the fire levin‘s blasting Ice within the chest is crackling. Everything to me is hindrance You are not within my distance We are bound by golden twine. Step down from the blazing sun The child loves you but it stammers Because this un-beating heart Cannot fasten Gelid gates of inky Hades. I shall lay myself to rest Hold acquittal and solace In this hour evil, bleak, When you didn’t hear me speak.       Saša Milivojev     Translated by Ljubica Yentl Tinska SAŠA MILIVOJEV

Saša Milivojev - REFUGEES

Image
Sasha Milivoyev - Saša Milivojev Saša Milivojev REFUGEES   Happy and all smiles Greteful to the Skies In love crazily We sang blissfully Life we worshiped Of what was yet to come we dreamed Never in a million years we'd fear The hell that was becoming was near All we have come by Gone in a blink of an eye You plundered everything from us Cursed criminals Thirsting for blood savages Tore our hearts into pieces Slayed a child in a crib Brothers and sisters to the gallows In petrol set to flames Barbarians Shattered all our dreams Crumbled all to dust Extinguished the sun Darkness Gruesome fear For death we were escaping Hungry and shoeless Through this world so heartless Seeking the inconsolable salvation Upon that hellish flight From that gruesome war We came across some folk divine Who planted a seed of hope Once upon a border crossing We were battered For help when we were seeking In the forest of the howling wolves We were hiding Embraced by the flames of fire We were warming The
